Re: Andy Procter
Hate the man. Not the right fit for a decent club like Preston. Don't like looking for their results and hoping they've lost. Can't help it though while he's there.

Re: Andy Procter
We are urgently in need of a Procter in terms of effort!! We saw another pathetic performance from Barnett (lazy ). The player has the ability when he wants to make an effort, as in the last 20 mins today.
The way Cook is playing, we dont need a midfield,if he continues to simply boot the ball long. We have been used to playing to feet from the back, which makes for entertaining football, so lets get back to basics please Cook was such a good player himself, so why this shocking long ball game? |

I thought our long ball game was very clever yesterday. Podge smartly made the most of Wimbledon's high back line on goal kicks and our wingers made a lot of the second balls. I'm sure that once Cook gets to build his side in the summer we will see more intricate tactics but for now we have to work with what we have. |

Re: Andy Procter
I do not disagree with Shakermaker or Cashman, but we have been used to flowing football! As i said Barnett has the ability, but he does need to display a sense of interest, determination and Im sure he will progress.
It was obvious that Cook had given him a good talking to at half time, may it long continue. |

Re: Andy Procter
He constantly slates us....................... plus he got Mcconville deliberately sent off in the Playoff's last season.
He was useless when we had him....... and STILL IS !! |
Re: Andy Procter
At the risk of having a plague wished upon me by some posters, I feel that Mark Roberts does not deserve some of the venom directed at him. When he was at Stanley, let's not forget that he spent most of his time doing his own job at centre back and at the same time covering for a lump of dough named Graham Branch (not one of Coley's better signings). Roberts himself seemed to fall out with Coley and that is the reason for his antipathy to Accy - it's not about the club.
As for the play off incident, McConville got himself sent off. It seems unlikely that he is "still useless" - surely his performances for Satange, especially against higher opposition in cup games, suggest otherwise. :hidewall: |
Re: Andy Procter
There are only 3 men I hate in football, he is one im afraid. and always will be.
