Rochdale build up ...

well its shaping up nicely for the return of The Messiah isn't it? Both of us have tough home games midweek against Rotherham and Bradford, the results of which could leave us both firmly in the play-offs and a real six pointer in the offing.

no doubt that there will be decent media coverage of their return (and Bobby Grant, Ian Craney, Ray Putterill, Kevin McIntired, Phil Edwards) and this is starting to feel like the beginnings of a new rivalry, the likes of which we haven't had in years.

I'm starting to get that knotted stomach feeling where you just can't bear to lose the game.

Come on Reds, six points from six and we can all get the "Believe" posters out again!!

are you feeling confident Tazzy? Bobby Grant has hit the kind of form he should be hitting at this level so goals aren't looking a problem.

Soemthing I saw on your forum this morning was along the lines of scoring isn't a problem its keeping them out ... Could be right into our hands :)

Will be a strange situation where most of the away team are on first name terms with the home fans :D

No chance of any ringers being played :)

Looks like Tazzy by reading it.

with all the ex-Stanley Players and coaching staff, I don't know about LITTE Accrington Stanley, we are more of a Stanley Lite.

Same Great Taste, just without the CRAP :D

No Bobby Grant on Saturday ( Assuming the game is on !!:o)

Sent Off for for the Old Boys against Bradford tonight for "violent conduct"

Re: Rochdale build up ...

well that is fantastic news!!!!

I was discussing tonight what kind of reception the old boys might get on saturday and hoping that it would ber favourable (and reciprocated) but Bobby is the one that you always wonder about due to his 'exuberance'.

If it's below 20 degrees, rained 3 days previously or the wind is above 1 mph could be off. Premier League ref, they have the weather arranged for them usually :)

admire the depths of your pocket Smobile - while you're travelling north, I'll be heading west along the south coast. Taking my this year's hols up hill from you at Ashcombe. Purely co-incidental Stanley are at nearby Torquay following Sat - at least that's what I told the wife !

But on the other hand, the calloff helps us stay under the radar - didn't our play-off charge two seasons back start from something like 18th but with 4 games in hand?

But yes, a win over the dale is a must (for more than one reason:D)

Be nice to see some of the old names back at the Crown and perhaps show our appreciation of what they achieved for us but we have moved on as they have so just another game but a good test for Stanley as well being another North West Derby.

Its definitely a bigger game for dale than than stanley! We could be playing anyone at the Crown tomorrow and i would have the same view. I expect us to win and I expect the opposing team to have more supporters.

but we will play better football and will be louder.

see you all tomorrow.:mosher:
