Last time I was at Fleetwood it was so bl--dy cold and wet with sleet blowing sideways, there was a puddle in the center of the field about 6" deep and 20'x30'. We got a free kick in the middle of the puddle, we couldn't ground the ball but the ref still made us take the kick with the ball floating. Don't ask the score, I think everybody was frozen stiff, we finished with 9 players and they ended up with 8, it was before subs were allowed.

The last time I went to a Stanley Away match, they were in the 3rd Div North - c 1959

I'll be there on Tuesday, part of the Nori Army

I've not been but from what I've seen I would think these days the joke is on any Stanley fan who thinks the facilties at Fleetwood are worse than Stanley's ;)

how many do you think you'll bring . We're looking forward to this one and hope a good turnout on both sides. Things have changed bit here!!

Jims Sports Bar for one is superb and behind the Memorial Stand. Join us all in there from 5pm when it opens. Food, top barmaids, 30 Tv screens and a good pint

As the last couple of posters say, the new Highbury is nothing like what it was the last time we played your lot. The facilities all over are exceptional, a massive step up from what you're used to at your place :notworthy. Whether you're in the terrace behind the goal, or upgrade to the seats, you'll have a great view of the action. How many do you reckon you'll bring? I know it's a Tuesday night, and in general your away support is probably, like ours, disappointing at times, but this is a Lancashire derby of years gone by, and eagerly awaited. :cuddle:
