Does anyone know who is the oldest player to play at The Crown Ground?

I was just looking at the Bucks Free Press and the statement that Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth at 39 may start himself tomorrow, if he does will this make him the oldest player to perform at The Crown Ground this season

Gaz hints at starting place (From Bucks Free Press)

Seem to remember John Burridge playing for Blyth Spartans at Crown Ground some years ago must have been nearly 50

Roberts born 04/08/69
and is now 43
the last time he played against us at The Crown Ground was 14/11/09
so I make that he was 40

Chris Waddle was 40 or 41 when he inspired Worksop with a masterclass in a 3-4 league win at the Crown, in spite of much barracking about his girth by the Clayton End, only we were on the open Coppice end in those days.

on looking for a 3-4 defeat for Stanley at the hands of Worksop,
I found it was in Sept. 2000 that also makes him 40 at the time

If you count the pre-match warm up then Kevin Poole would have been 47 when he was on the bench for Burton in March 2011 :)
