Craig Lindfield - budding journalist ...

A cracking read about a week in the life of a Stanley player:

The Footballers' Football Column - Craig Lindfield: I meet at a Little Chef for a lift, have breakfast in a pub and then discover at training I'm in the 'bomb squad' (in other words not in the starting XI) | Mail Online

I don't think the Crown will be getting Michelin stars if it's down to Craig :)

Good read that.

Oh dear. Reading it carefully there doesn't seem to be much room for any hair dryer treatment from the boss in the post match inquests. Worrying, that.

Different motivational approach, bit like Cooky, but I am old school and loved Coleys air dryer approach, certainly kept players on there toes !!!

This was the bit I liked.

"We don’t get the biggest gates but Stanley Ultras are the best and most loyal fans you could ask for and it’s a great feeling to walk out onto the pitch for the start of the game."

Respect.

Just scroll down the page to see Craig's daily diary for 6 days!

nope, the last bit of the page is something about our most famous fan, Bumble. I've left it for a bit in case it wants to load - nothing. I've done a hard refresh - nothing. Flash is up to date as well so no idea. The scroll bar on the right hand side is not showing any more page to view neither.

I got it first time on my phone - tis a good read. But I'm still baffled by not getting it on my laptop. Been to it via links from all sorts of places but no joy. Ho Hum
