Youth Team Game Abandoned
 
After passing 2 pitch inspections this morning youth team game at Gawthorpe was started, then abandoned after 2 minutes. Is that the shortest game ever :D

I suspect there may have been an incorrect/dodgy time piece involved.

The Accy lads are sure 90 minutes had passed and are very happy with a clean sheet and a point!!

The dirty kit does back up their arguement!!

Could it be that the home team having potentially dropped 2 points are looking to "clutch at straws"??;)

ASFC have asked the FL to investigate!!:eek:

That was one of the only "good" things from Saturday; as we'd taken our coach down with the kit, we were able to cancel the return flights. This allowed the lads to go with the coach to the hospital to offer their support to Nicky and then come back via road.

Attention to detail and late changes are the ASFC speciality!!;)

In that case why does it say abandoned after less than 5 mins on fishy site MrT?:confused::confused:
