good thing or bad thing ????

if the worst was to happen and we did get relegated would this be a bad thing for the club im confident this wont happen but theres always a chance new league new players {there will be the usual ship jumpers **new start we would then see who is loyal and who is there for the money

If any of them are there for the money I would suggest the club looks after their welfare and organises an appointment with a psychiatrist :D

Owing to the lack of external funding given we would HAVE to become self sufficient in terms of raising our own revenue to pay our way. I dont suppose for one minute that Eric Whalley paid for everything last time we were there, but suffice to say that he put a good wedge in. The last few years have seen us turn no profit to speak of and half of our turnover has been handouts. Without those gimmes we'll see some hard times. The big plus though is that it would teach us to run properly and efficiently again, and if we ever made it back to the FL then we'd be all the better for it - as proven countless times in the past by other yo-yo clubs.

Our poor wage bill would have to be significantly cut but yet at least we probably wouldn't be the poorest team in the league again. Yes there are some big clubs down there, but it wouldn't by any stretch mean that the dream has gone. There were big clubs down there last time we won it and we could do it again. It might even mean bigger crowds ...
