Fleetwood thread

No takers yet so here goes, even though it didn't work for the Cobblers.
I really hope Leam goes for it with an attacking line-up including Jeffers on from the start, and doesn't adopt his usual "keep it tight for the first half" approach. It's time to go for it!

Is there any chance of the game being off pitch wise

Maybe your magic only works for home games......

Agree with you that now is the time to be bold - we need to start collecting points in multiples of three. Dunbavin between the sticks (if he's fit) and Jeffers starting.

(Keep it tight for the first half) probably good advice but I won’t be complaining if we are two up at half time.
I just took a look to see who has been putting the ball in the net for Fleetwood and found their defender Junior Brown put their last two goals away, on further investigation I was surprised to find he is their top scorer this season (9 goals) so beware of this defender

Bavs is not fit(Dawbs is out for a while),so i will bow to forum pressure and go;
Rachubka
hunt Dean Aldred Wison
Murphy
Bocco Linganzi Moly
Beatty Jeffers

Blitz them down the middle,with numbers and presence and packing central areas for second balls.
Shot on sight policy to be adopted !!!!

Div3North;
As usual your pre match summary is full of the history and facts and anecdotes which I always read with interest but please be aware that my brain cells are now dying at an alarming rate and recalling information from a previous thread is not as easy as it once was

Re: Fleetwood thread

I can't imagine Ian will be anywhere near match fit, unfortunately. Beattie will probably start alongside Jeffers. Joyce will almost certainly be back in the side while the likes of Boco, Gray, Lindfield and even Molyneux could be rotated if Leam is using his squad to battle tired legs.

I'll plump for:

Rachubka
Hunt Winnard Aldred Wilson
Joyce Murphy Linganzi
Hatfield
Beattie Jeffers

As f19 said, keep everything very central. Hunt and Wilson can be solid without wingers in front of them while Murphy and Joyce can cover these half-back areas. Hatfield deserves a start and will support the forward line while having the backing of Linganzi anchoring the midfield.

All that said, I wouldn't be surprised to see 4-4-2 again.
