Great, and much needed result.
Poor [old] Edgar Davids will be wondering what he has to do to stay on the pitch against Stanley - he was also sent off at Barnet. I've always thought League 2 refs are in a class of their own.

:jimbo:Great result for us today...simply put...3 POINTS!!! Superb hatrick for Moly.... I disagree with the notion that his first goal was a "bit scruffy". I was behind the goal in the Clayton end right behind the right hand post. He "passed" his shot into the bottom corner superbly with a good degree of swerve on it too! :mosher:Their keeper had no chance with it! Second was another hammered shot:mosher:..simply unstoppable:mosher:...Third was a penalty taken with great confidence.:mosher: Well done Moly, more please on Tuesday!:mosher: The soft goal we let in on half time was a turning point and we need to stop this kind of lapse from occuring! As others have said, the response to Leam's call for a FIGHT was definitely taken on board. The players were up for it and so too were our fans. Special mention to the Ultras for restoring the colour and passion to the Clayton End. :cheers:We sang for the whole 90 odd minutes and also enjoyed the company of our Norwegian contingent.:theband:.
3 more points on Tuesday boys...ON STANLEY ON!!!:jimbo::jimbo::jimbo:

Last Tuesday I saw one of the worst ever performances by a football team. Yesterday I saw Barnet win 1-0 and play Stanley off the park. Maybe I better stay at home on Tuesday :D

Great first half but the goal before half-time gave Barnet that bit of impetus going into the Break and it was backs to the wall in the second half for Stanley and despite an onslaught we hung on for three valuable points.

At this stage of the season it's more about points than anything else and it almost felt after a week of not good news that somebody had lifted a monkey off the back of the Club.

Taking each game as it comes and not looking to far ahead is key now, to follow yesterday up with a win on Tuesday is critical.
