Hi,guys....Just a message from a Carlisle United fan....I,m delighted that Stanley retained league status..always keep an eye out for your results,and even wore my old Stanley shirt (ASDA sponsors) today....You deserve to be a league club,and the football world is much richer to have this fine old name amongst its elite...Long may this continue...Wonderful club!

I can echo that, me son went to uni in Carlisle, many years ago n we used to go up fer weekend, popped in Brunton Park a couple of times when up yon. always a friendly ground.

Its quite easy for me to post a comment regarding my satisfaction that Stanley retained league status,and its quite easy to comment on the way that you guys hold on to a staggering tradition to the magnificent name of Accrington in the football world..However,it takes a quite remarkable bunch of people to like and reply to my original message....But,knowing you fans,and experiencing the warmth and hospitality that i endure whenever i can get to you,re ground,and i do make the effort,...I really am not suprised.Accrington Stanley ARE football...and its an English sporting institution...always will be...Top club,top fans,and top traditions!

How much is a season ticket for Carlisle?? Stanley's are less than 200 which should offset your fuel bill for next season's commutes ;-)

I,ll tell you something....i seriously am thinking of taking in a lot of Stanley,s games next season...and i,m quite serious about this!...I,ve never taken my eyes off you since we met in the Conference in 2004/5...You were by far the most friendliest bunch of supporters i ever met in my 45 yrs of following Carlisle..and i just love the way you brought the club back.To even raise the club into the football world back in 1968 was an achievement...but to return to the league?...i find it mindblowing....and its SUCH an underrated sporting achievement...Ive found myself purchasing Stanley memorabilia since 04/05...reading the books,and just absorbing myself into this incredible club.I,m so proud to even be writing on your site...its an absolute honour,i can tell you!
