I can honestly say I didn't think there was such a massive gulf between Football League and Conference.

Hereford have just found out the true cost, BBC Sport - Hereford United: Players told by text that there is no pay for April after reading that, I'm even more grateful for Lee Molyneux for scoring the goals, that ultimately gave Stanley the impetus to push on. There is also a warning about players being on long contracts, as the majority of the Hereford players were still on contracts drawn up for the football league.

Thing is as i understand it, A contract can have clauses put in it, to cover such things,if they won't sign em stuff em is my view.;)
