Re: eric steel
Can't see much changing with that arrangement, just by Fergie retiring and Moyes taking the helm. They'll ( Man U ) probably be keeping an eye on the lads progress and what better way than having him continue to train with 'em??
My only concern is, that we keep the lads contract up to date with plenty of time to run before it expires IF.... he indeed has the potential that has been touted by many, is true. That way we get top dollar (i.e. at least five zero's after the initial whole number of the sequence & preferably the whole number exceeding 4!!) when he goes elsewhere !!! Though the way he floored the Oxford forward ( for the penalty that wasn't given ) in our last game is 'owt to go by, he may be in the wrong game!!;) He'd make a good blocker in American Football judging on that evidence !! |
Re: eric steel
After watching him come on that game I wondered how the hell he had been given a contract in first place!!
Too small, to slow didnt look interested, didnt even move for pen! Man U must be crazy |
Re: eric steel
I agree with Accymark....I wasn't too keen neither when I watched him against Oxford....but if he can get a few games under his belt this season (13/14) you never know......he must have potential for being offered a contract!

Re: eric steel
Why must Man U be crazy? They are only looking at him.

Re: eric steel
I agree he didnt look ready at the Oxford game but he's 18 - as a goalie it'll be 3 or 4 years until you can start to properly judge him - 10 years until he peaks!
