I think this is a major signing for Stanley.He held his own against Everton and should make a huge contribution at league 2 level.This is obviously only made possible by being a mate of James Beattie,who is setting a fantastic foundation for the forthcoming season,never mind the play-offs automatic promotion is a definite possibility.Lets hope!!!

As a footnote.....interesting to note that No's 8 & 11 are yet to be filled....more signings on the way?????:confused:

I wonder if there's any life left in the Naismith situation??? Will Mingoia be one of those to fill one of the vacant sqaud numbers????:confused:

Could it be Mingoia and what would be fantastic is Naismith coming back to Stanley on a season long loan deal,apparently a strong possibility ,hope the rumours true,if not in the wind why haven't 8 @ 11 been issued so close to the start of the season!

Can't see that as Beattie only intends to turn out in an emergency,and his tie and hair would go skew-whiff.

The squad is looking great at the minute, maybe only need one or two more additions and we have a real shout of being in the top half. Really looking forward to this season.
