Plymouth fan here, Rommy Boco

Hello Stanley fans, not sure if your pleased with this news or no but Skysports tweeted out roughly 40minutes ago that your player Romauld Boco is having a medical with Plymouth tonight.

Never seen him play so would just like to hear your views on him and whether your quietly pleased with him going or was he a key player for you & also whether you think a fee was involved.

Good luck for 44/46 games next season unless we meet in the play offs haha I'll leave that for you to decide

And if I couldn't link it but if you go on google and search something along the lines of "Sky Sports Pete o'rourke his twitter should come up and it was fairly recent

Rommy was a good un fer us no question, seems he had a medical at chesterfield a few weeks back n nowt came of it, was outa contract here i believe, so can't see there being a fee.:)a great favourite of mine, but like anything up here, can't afford to keep the best.

Good luck to him, he always seemed to give his best for Stanley. His return against Cheltenham at the start of last season was a highlight. I guess the climate in Plymouth is a bit closer to that of Benin.

Didn't want Rommy to go but that's football. Best wishes to him - a very nice lad into the bargain.

Great player, great attitude.
Surprised he went to Plymouth when he had league 1 clubs sniffing around.

Plymouth must be paying him well.
Didn't they recently get out of trouble for spending money they didn't have?

The Prince of Benin is a talented and honest Football player who will always give his best wherever and whenever he plays.
I'm certain that very few will disagree with me when I say that Rommy never once let The Reds down, and has left us with only good memories !.
I'm sorry that he's gone, and wish him well in the future .

I go back a bit further and think of Dave Hargreaves. He was the player I remember most from when I watched as a kid. Also remember Dave Parr from about the same sort of time.

Ah, bless him - not really a surprise though, he doesn't seem to have featured much for Argyle this season

Re: Plymouth fan here, Rommy Boco

I hardly saw him on the ball when they played here. In fact I didn't really notice him until he got subbed. Another former hero it's best to forget.

I'm guessing he'll drop away now, probably into the Conference with Torquay seeing as his new gaffe in Plymouth to carry on with

Cooky took him to Sligo and didn't he bring him back to Stanley? Obviously rates him. Is he League 1 quality though?
