Cardiff match thread

With Cardiff's great victory against Man City today what does it all mean for us on Wednesday night - a full house? We all know the answer to that one. Malky Mackay has spent 28 million on 5 new players this season after running away with the Championship last season, so whether or not he fields a "weakened" side Stanley will be up against it big time. Maybe its a match we could do without just now considering our current position, but as Malky was quoted as saying to his players before the City game, "every player has to look at their opposite number and think "you're not going to be better than me today"". It worked for them, but..............

they struggled to beat City, so they have little chance of beating Stanley

It's a chance to claim a Premiership Scalp regardless of who they put out, advance in the competition, claim more prize money plus another chance to pull one of the Big Six in the 3rd Round.

He who Dares Wins:)

Unfortunately there is no prize money until the semi final.

Whilst i enjoy seeing us draw a bigger club, Is it worth while small clubs taking part in this competition? Because seemingly 90% of the time only bigger clubs will get any prize money!!! The odds are stacked against smaller clubs, personally think they should tell em to get stuffed.:(

Always the chance to pull a plum tie or do a Bradford

Don't disagree and at the same time you can also see why some bigger teams field second strings to focus on the PL catch 22 but for us may also kick start the season
