Im glad the club remembered the fa cup run in 1992/93, (which i consider the best cup run) in the programme yesterday

1st Qual A Hyde United Won 5-1
2nd Qual H Bradford Park Avenue Won 2-0
3rd Qual A Stalybridge Won 2-1
4th Qual H Northallerton Town Won 3-1
1st Round Proper H Gateshead Won 3-2
2nd Round Proper H Crewe Lost 1-6

nearly as good as 74/75

The year after we had Scunthorpe at Turf Moor in the 1st round with several last min goals.

Same opposition next up, but not such a glamour tie this time.

If you got to the 1st round proper you started next in in the 4th qualifying round so only had to win one game rather than 4 or 5 (sometimes around then we started in the preliminary round prior to the first qualifying) to get in the 'proper' rounds again.

I think we played Alty who had no fit 'keeper in the 4th QFR that year, they played a rugby player in goal and we won 1 nil I think.

Out best cup run was in he Lancs FA Youth Cup 89/90 :)
