Great abillity and a vgood winger is Chris Turner and a nice lad as well Dav007!! To why he never made it as a league player relieced by JC cause hes face didnt fit :(

Got to disagree, CT was in the squad around the time we were in the play offs so struggled to get a look in. His attitude was fine, he left because he wanted to play regular football, nothing wrong with that.

After that his priorities changed and he has become a teacher, he is happy in the job he is doing so he plays football part time. If he is happy, what is the problem?

He had talent to be a league footballer but that isn't his career choice anymore. Its his life so let him get on with it.

Just an opinion.I agree he did have the talent to make it in league 2.

Think it was more desire than attitude,and he saw his future away from pro football.
I believe he is a really nice lad,who had the tools,but it's disheartening when your not playing.
At the time JC was playing a narrow game,where Chris was a winger/wide man.
You do lose your desire to climb the ladder and look to enjoy it more.
I thought at one point he could have made a decent fullback which would have meant a lot of hard work on the training field,but alas it never happened.
He's probably earning more than most of the players now so good luck to him
