How can that happen, Mab, when there a specific 'no-recall' clause in Mr.Carver's loan to Barrow to the end of this season?
I can only hope Marcus wanted the move because, along with Mr.Hatfield, I otherwise think he's been treated somewhat shabbily.
Good luck to both of them, except when they up against Stanley!

Barrow loan for Carver - Accrington Stanley FC Doesn't say owt on there about no recall if needed :p

From Barrow's website:

Carver Returns
Posted on 6th February 2015 by Barrow
Barrow have signed Marcus Carver on loan from Accrington Stanley. Carver has signed a short loan which lasts for a maximum of 93 days and contains no recall clause.

News - Barrow AFC

That stat saying he has played 21 times this season surprises me as it doesn't seem that many. I bet there weren't many starts, though. but plenty of token substitutions.

Thats true MrT, but the no recall is the important thing to fans.

Re: Marcus Carver, then.....

When they go on loan the club they have their registration with still pays all the wages. The club who loans the player pays the other club, and it can be a lot less or a lot more than the equivalent wages. For example the loan fee could cover the amortization of the player on the accounts, but as Stanley don't pay for players it won't factor.

Maybe it is making way for Shaun Wright-Phillips to move back up north?
