Just been on to Reading about the game tomorrow and they replied:
We currently have no concerns over tomorrow evenings FA Youth Cup game with Accrington Stanley.
Full information on the fixture can be found on our website by clicking here,
I presume they are referring to my enquiry about the risk of flooding, rather than the prospect of being beaten.;)

If anyone's not familiar with YouTube, you can improve the picture quality by clicking on the wheel-shaped thingy in the bottom right.

Re: F.A. youth cup v Reading.

Stanley lads did their best but came up against a very proficient team. Not sure that Reading didn't interpreted the rules as Under 18 stone as some their players looked and played like men. Thank heavens they didn't bring on the even bigger ones who were on the subs bench. But I'm sure the lads will remember playing at such an impressive venue and doing as well as they have to get to the 5th round.

Re: F.A. youth cup v Reading.

I read somewhere some of their lads are playing fer under 21s, so great credit to our lads imho.

Re: F.A. youth cup v Reading.

Everyone associated with Accrington Stanley can be proud of the achievements of our youngsters and Keith Brown in the FA Youth Cup.
Very well done to all concerned. This experience should help develop these boys further and lets hope we see some of them move onto be great full time pros in our first team in the seasons to come.
Well done lads!
