[QUOTE=shakermaker;1097553The attendance last night was terrible. I know there was Champions League on the telly and the away support had a long way to travel but I reckon there was under a thousand home supporters on the ground.[/QUOTE]
Always the same for Stanley. A great performance followed by an awful gate for the next game. JB must despair.

More worryingly, the directors must despair. We've been told that (a) cheaper prices and (b) winning will increase the gates. Well, the directors reduced prices and gates seem to have gone down. Then there's the response to Saturday's magnificent performance; Accrington must be the only town in the country where winning drives fans away. The famous Accy apathy strikes again!

I suspect many people in Accy can't be bothered with being apathetic.

A bit of talk about yesterdays game.

The Football League | News | League 2 | League 2 news | Beattie sets survival target

Is it apathy or is it that the demographics have changed so much there is no genuine interest ? Bit of both obviously but the demographics are constantly pushing the possible genuine interest further away.
