Re: brett ormerod

2 years ago when he had the chance he should have had his glorious homecoming. But if he cant get in a Conference team then he can't get in ours.

It depends on his physical fitness.

Tend to agree with Macca and Cashers. Despite the obvious romance of him 'coming home', I think Mr.Ormerod missed his chance a couple of years ago when he chose Wrexham. We have The Big Man and Mr.Webber (not to mention a young buck called Beattie, who remains a player, I believe), how many more 'experienced' strikers can Stanley support?

Re: brett ormerod

not for me would be a backward step with the young lads we have now

Re: brett ormerod

would prefer we take a punt on a prolific Conf scorer, who's team misses out on promotion and might be tempted to take a FL chance with us than maybe more money with his Conf side.

Re: brett ormerod

I would prefer it,if we could just make enough to pay the lads we already got, Who have already demonstrated they love the club.

No to Brett, we've no injury crisis and enough in the squad. He may fit next year, but that could be sorted over the summer. My gut feeling is not needed now and won't be needed later.

He no good for us now, he is to old and i would rather have the likes of Gray and Kayode upfront.

Re: brett ormerod

I would rather have Oscar Pistorius up front, Ormerods history n should stay so.

Re: brett ormerod

But like many a selfish striker, he doesn't always know where his team mates are before he shoots; allegedly.

Re: brett ormerod

I would like to see brett at asfc , but not just as a player but as an ambassador for the club
local boy going into local schools promoting our club
maybe get him to coach around our youth set up as well
as just maybe if fit could start popping in a few goals, that may mean more bums on seats
yes I would have him back but as a package of a few different things
