Bristol can't get 56 if Wycombe beat them, they can only get 53. Torquay can only get 45 if Wycombe beat them. And Wycombe could get 56 There's a few more but my tea is here now :) |
Re: League 2 relegations
PS Torquay & Northampton for me :)

Re: League 2 relegations
Hartlepool can't get 10 points from 3 games, even if the monkey scores lol

Re: League 2 relegations
Torquay, and Bristol unless Wycombe lose at home to Bristol and away to Torquay. But Hartlepool are trying hard to get involved ..........

Re: League 2 relegations
Just 1pt from our remaining 3 games would make us safe as long as wycombe draw at least 1 of there remaining games:) Torquay and Wycombe for the drop

Re: League 2 relegations
as lancsdave has kindly informed me I have more than the 1 deliberate mistake allowed so I'll try again

Re: League 2 relegations
I have just been doing some mathematical scenarios re the last 3 fixtures of the 6 clubs below Stanley (excluding Torquay) and it transpires that, provided they maintain their superior goal difference, Stanley require only 3 more points for survival, even if Northampton win all their remaining games.
This is because Wycombe, Morecambe, Exeter, Bristol Rovers and Hartlepool are all engaged in fixtures against at least one of their fellow strugglers – in fact Hartlepool face both Morecambe and Exeter. In fact, if none of the matches involving these five teams is a draw, Stanley need only 2 points! |

Re: League 2 relegations
You can't bet on Torquay so taking them for granted.
The next 3 are very close: Northampton -15/8 Wycombe - 2/1 Bristol R - 3/1 Like last year it is very close with the outsiders: Hartlepool - 16/1 Exeter - 18/1 Morecombe - 20/1 Stanley - 80/1 Shows what a difference the two last minute points made. |
