Plus, if terrace hearsay on Beattie's budget arrangements are even half true, there's a great deal of rebuilding required in order to build a competitive squad for next year.

If the outfield players he 're-builds' with are of the standard he has signed since he's been back we are in big trouble, because apart from O'Sullivan none have been better than what was already here (Crooks, Maguire, Barry, Molynuex, Conneely, Rodden).

No.
Please speake to the lad.
He wanted to move on to a higher league and ideally a club in the north west.
I dont think he would have left for a club in the same division.

Its a massive step up for him to play in the championship, and while Blackpool currently look certain for relegation, he will have at the very least trebled his wages and will get the chance to test himself in league 1 again.

I hope he proves himself.

Most of them are loanees frank, which is always a risk, who thought moly wouldn't reproduce his previous form?.
I think we are bottom of the food chain when it comes to loanees !!!

Feel free to ask him on twitter.

Can you please stop trying to cause anamosity and division on this forum, the tone and bile in your posts is not required.
We need to stick together.
Lets keep it civilised.

You can go thro their team and they have invested heavy in getting away from the relegation zone,we simply cant do that.
They have Richards and otoole up top,we have Carver and McGuire, love to put their career stats side by side !!
We have lost probably three of our star performers (keeper,Jonno and Tom)
what are people expecting.
We have introduced "rookies"to plug gaps (not their fault),Carver,Coneelly, keeper,Bucko, how many games have they played??,that's nearly half your team and more importantly part of the spine, which is key to success.
Saying that,we should still of got something out of the game, but our inexperience cost us dearly, hopefully Coley addresses this and we start picking up points.

They are not the only team to have a playing budget twice the size of ours. But our fighting spirit has always overcome that.

Yes, we have some "rookies". All the more reason why the manager and his assistant should be giving some help and encouragement during the game. He had the opportunity to address the question of inexperience during the game. Did he?? And what about the experience on the bench? Hunt? Liddle? Gray who started on the bench and has done so far too often?

Good point chubby, but he wasn't on anyone's loan radar after southport,so fair play to Coley for taking the chance, even dean, who knows most of the blackburn lads, never mentioned him as a real prospect ( he does now tho !!! )

Beattie was aware of him but the club wouldn't stump up,probably because Beatts was always going over budget.

Well i heard it was attempted a couple of weeks before he returned? But funds were not available to do it? funny how those funds arrived, when the chosen one returned. I wonder if Blackburn have been approached by Stanley for a return? The lads not on the bench even, so better if he plays i reckon?

Funds weren't made available?

Somebody said, (Valairian I think?) that Coley signed 5 players, Moly, Barry, Maguire, O'Sullivan and the goalkeeper at the time, all for the same price as Kayodes wage alone who Beattie signed.

On another note, I think Barry is unlucky to not be starting, Our MOM at Wimbledon, seems to read the game well and good composed passer of the ball!

Not quite right old bean,I watched a couple of his first training sessions,I made the point that he had some lovely distribution and skills but was at least a yard off the pace.........so was played to early.....hence first appearance got injured just before half time being late for a tackle.

Seems like I'm always agreeing with you these days Davo !...Barry is a talented player, unfortunately the second rate efforts from the rest of the team yesterday must have rubbed off onto him because his skills appeared to have deserted him !.
Seemed to me that he had no clear vision of the role he was expected to play in the scheme of things and he was as ineffective as the rest !.
Nevertheless, he deserves a start and a full game to make his mark on a game .

I know I'll simply take your advice and apologise to Pietro whose enthusiasm and industry was both exemplary and a real example to the rest of the team !.

Bad defeat but 22nd or above is success when looking at resources and investments.
