Scanners for some reason weren't working at Clayton End; I was only told at 3-10pm. Which has reminded me I need to pass on the information to the IT guy.

When the scanners work well at the Clayton End the turnstiles at the main stand then the Coppice will also be up-graded.

Likewise the "new system" on the Sportsbar has been implemented to allow as many fans as possible to use there pre-match. Again a scanning system will be used on this door as well going forward.

Mr T, Everything you have said adds up to P*** Poor management, I am not pointing the finger at you. However, The IT guy needs to get a grip as the technology for the job we want is old hat, Supermarkets have used E.P.O.S for years, Stanley is no different just a smaller scale. Go onto any online shop, buy your goods pay online get a receipt by email. This has been done for years. Go on Stanley website, order ticket, pay online, get a receipt by email, simple. Stanley gains marketing information. seating or standing spaces available for walk-ons. If staff can't sell a ticket over the counter and put the money in the till then that simply tells the world that our staff are not to be trusted. It is not a big deal to put such a system in place. We all know who the Machiavellian is in this debacle. Our club is struggling on the pitch and off, We as fans are doing all we can to get behind the Team and the club. many go the fan zone or the catering van, the bar at half time. We even dare to question Coley's selection and tactics. But the way the whole ticket pricing issue and general customer experience of dealing with the club is downright poor. So when the board meet again just point out how the thousand of fans can't get in because of the problems that many people are aware of but only a few choose to point out. A complaint is an opportunity to put something right.

Which begs the question RR ....What exactly was the Old System ?.

A little enigma for us both to consider, and perhaps Cashy too, as we toy with a Turkey leg and sip our mulled wine at the festive board.

Loved ones might look askance at our furrowed brows as we attempt to unravel the mysteries of all things to do with the administrative machinations at our club instead of pulling a cracker or two , but needs must !.

A good Christmas to you and all your loved ones !

KTF.

The "system" I'm referring to is the opening times and access to the Sportsbar.

Following the Club having it's own Sky Sports system installed and the extension of the cables to allow the ITN feed of our match to be shown in all the lounges; we want as many supporters to be able to use the Sportsbar

We've had a few different tries, but the plan going forward is the Sportsbar is open to all who have a valid match ticket from 12-30 pm. From 12-30pm until 1-30pm the stewards on the front door will accept a valid match ticket and then from 1-30pm people can enter via the turnstiles ( at the main stand or the Clayton End) and still use the Sportsbar.

The thoughts are that whilst the Fanzone is a excellant facility for home fans; people will appreciate being indoors during the colder months pre-match. However we also want to keep people for a whole host of reason's using the turnstiles when they open at 1-30pm.

So what we've put longer cables in just so the prawn sandwich brigade can watch the game without getting cold, Mr Whalley would be having a fit if he was still here

Thanks, Mark. I often wondered what the system was. I hope that the new system does not lead to overcrowding.

Bernard;

We have a plan (safety wise) to prevent "over crowding" sadly the home attendances have to be a lot higher before we need to implement it!!
