Pragmatists Prosper As DeFeat Goes On

By most accounts that was better, but ultimately the same old pointless outcome . More of you are beginning to get the hang of this though ;), with 9 anticipating the result, against 5 drawmongers and 16 eternal optimists. But only Ossy Kid got it spot-on, taking 5 points and moving up level with Kiwi John (3 points) in top spot :), one ahead of Red-Osbornello (4 points) in 3rd. JimsLad was the highest of the other 4 pointers, climbing from 13th to 9th and ejecting 1 point Leylandii from the Top Ten. Yerself was another 3 pointer, but this was only enough to hold 10th, albeit now only behind 8th and 9th on countback. The other 4 heroes were starting from further back - Tommy McQueen (4) and AngeB (3) moving up from 24th and 25th to 19th and 23rd respectively, with NigeB (4) and LongLostSon (3) each gaining a place to 29th and 30th. This leaves Football19, who talks more apparent sense about the game on here than most of us can manage, 31st and last of those who have played anything like regularly, which must prove something . Back in the Top Ten, Accybeme gained a point and thus 5th place from AccyMad, who didn't.

So, roll on the Mariners. The best thing about the Christmas programme is that I get two extra days off before it's once again time to write cheerful drivel. Hopefully I will have more to be cheerful about after that game than of late ..... pretty please .....
