Notts County away

Fixture at Meadow Lane switched from Saturday 26th to the previous night due to Nottingham Forest having their game v Leeds that weekend televised.
Can't really understand how this affects our game against County but obviously we have to bow to what Sky dictates

Easy on the train on a Saturday. Now I'll have to investigate Friday night trains!

Its a policing issue, cant have both Nottingham teams playing at home on the same day

Re: Notts County away

Surely if the games on sky it would be a lunch time kick off so do not see it affecting us

Re: Notts County away

No but they would have to pay police overtime no doubt.

Re: Notts County away

But it begs the question why are both teams scheduled to play at home on the same day? They more than likely weren't until Sky stepped in - chicken & the egg situation

Dont see why they didnt just reverse the fixtures rather than mess about changing to a Friday night.

Top idea !!

Good Friday away to Mansfield

Easter Monday away to Notts

I'm sure the lads and club would enjoy 3 nights away in a hotel with a £15k plus cost

I'll have a word tomorrow:rolleyes:

Aye you do that pal

Err why would that be ?

Theyre both 2 hour bus journeys and as Notts Forrest are the ones causing the problem in the first case let them move their fixture on Easter Monday
