Just a quick round up of day 1, which saw 28 of us having a go. 22 were suffering from first day optimism, which was, strangely, rewarded for the second season running. Max 5 points restricted to a select few, however, namely AndyD, Lord Stiffupperlip and Outback Ozzy. 4 points for quite a lot, 4 for "Stanley 3" (hoorah!) and 11 for "Colchester 1" (boo!). 3 for the rest of the optimists, 1 for 2 of the 4 drawmongers and nowt for the other 2 (also see quote above) or the 2 pessimists (I won't embarrass Dav007 and Red-Osbornello by naming them :)).

I won't publish a table until after the fourth game probably, as with a bit of luck a few more people will join in and its easier for me to wait until as many as possible are aboard.

So, roll on Yeovil. We always do so well against teams who are doing badly, don't we .. and no-one's doing worse than them on yesterday's evidence, so should we expect an early bursting of our little bubble  - no, surely not

On Stanley On!
