Favourite Stanley Nicknames
Hi
I have been looking at the witty, inventive or somewhat insulting nicknames that players have acquired over the years. I would love to know of any particularly good ones from Stanley. Best of luck for the season....it's a tough start for us in L1 Peter |

Re: Favourite Stanley Nicknames
Circus head was my mate Rory Prendergast, bless him - I think it was because he had so much going on in his head at any one time folk thought it must be like a circus in there :)

They were playing when I was around and are a couple of years younger than me. Dave........'Dingo' is a good friend and we often have drinks together in The Forts Arms in Clayton. Dave and I also have been members of Clayton Harrriers since our footballing days ended but we both cycle more these days as it's so much easier on the old bones!:end: |
Re: Favourite Stanley Nicknames
Good job I didn't mention I had a bit of a crush on Dingo when I was about 14 then . . . . . . . :D:rolleyes:
