All the terms and conditions are printed in the booklet that you receive when you get your season ticket ;)

The justification for the 1000 target needs explaining, as in what is in it for the fans? That might help them to sell more, rather than just looking like it will mean a bonus for a sales person.

We need someone who is commercially savy to deal with such things.

It would be a lot better if you could just renew your ST rather than having to apply again each season.

I am sure the target but will be hit for next season - and then what?

It would be much better if you could just renew, rather than have to apply in my view, O.K. yeh would have to apply in certain circs I.E. a change of age to a different sector. Dont expect anything in it for the fans excluding Cup Ticket Priority.

I know it is a good round milestone and shows progress. However I don't think it encourages anyone, and think it could have been more incentive based by the club who are also using it.

It was not a dig at you or your thread sorry.

Does it really matter?

Would it make you think twice about not getting one if we had only sold 400, Whats the point getting one if we was 600 off reaching the 1000 target?

I know the club are trying to get more incentives for the season ticket holders like for O2 discount that we have now.

For me, I pay for my season ticket, Anything i get with it is a bonus!

a bonus is the number of free games you get if you go to the majority of games plus first dibs at any high profile cup games. if that aint enough i do not know what is. free taxi from home to the wham. as for the renue of season tickets it could be made easier as mab as said. wonder what other clubs do who sell 10s of thousands.

How long does the Early Bird Promotion Period run for?

The Early Bird Promotion Period runs from 10am Thursday 1st March to 5pm on Monday 30th April.

What is the target number of sales for Season Tickets this year?

Again Target 1000 we are #TEAMSTANLEY are you? The aim is to crack the 1,000 Season Ticket sales barrier this time around!

Falling short by just 40 in Season 2017/18, the Club need you ‘the supporter’ more than ever as we progress both on and off the field of play – We need you to be in the #TEAMSTANLEY club.

Interesting that Lincoln city have grown their crowd to 7000 according to their spot on TV this week. Stanley have to have a home crowd of 2000+ to survive in league one. Again I can't think what more can be done to get people through the gate. I just hope they will find a sense of loyalty.

They wouldn't let me buy over the phone during the week or in person earlier this morning.

If other options or a solution was offered I wouldn't mind, but you can't have the last 4/5 days of a sales window where you don't sell, or restrict selling, and don't advertise it.

If they don't let me buy by phone on Monday at the third time of trying won't bother next season, I understand they are busy but there is no need for DB to be obnoxious, as they may not be so busy next season.

My dad went to renew season tickets today... was initially told couldn't as they had too much on!
He told them was for 4 season tickets so they changed their mind after a bit.

For club with supposedly no money, refusing a cheque for £850+ is ridiculous, especially as it took 2 mins to write a receipt, and is basically free revenue for Stanley.

Going to email Mr Holt - I think he would be livid. Might leave it to after the weekend though, think he might be a bit preoccupied with celebrating/the mother of all hangovers.

Not taking anything away from today's achievement, before anyone starts having a go. But have seen too many posts from people unable to give the club money. It's crazy.

New rules came into effect on 13 January 2018 meaning Companies are banned from charging ANY fees for credit or debit card payments.
You cannot be penalised for choosing to pay by card, either online or in-store.

Imagine my shock when ASFC charged me an additional £3 (again) for using my debit card to renew my season ticket earlier this week.
This is a clear breach of trading standards which I intend to report.

Of course it was a great day and a wonderful season :), and £3 is neither here nor there in that context. But neither day nor season would be improved by the club incurring a socking great fine from Trading Standards for failing to notice :(, or ignoring , a very well publicised change in the rules, which on the face of it would seem to be the case. So, assuming it is cock-up not conspiracy , the club should be pleased to have this brought to their attention. But I would ask Lord S please to complain to the club formally before dobbing them (us!) in.

Chimer my friend, thank you for your balanced case for the defence.
As for the acid-drop response from AccyMad implying I'm really Ebenezer Scrooge in disguise, I would respond thus;
Despite being a pensioner, I've been a season ticket holder for 2 years now & have attended every friendly, cup & home game.
Before that, I paid full admission prices.
I support the club through the 'Gold Bond' club & always purchase 50/50 draw tickets, buy programs, pies & beer
I donated unused kit to the OASSC, which raised over a thousand pounds for their cause.
The point is not that £3 is an acceptable charge for - and I quote 'Credit Card Admin fee, if applicable' but that the club are breaking the law.
Having paid by debit card, the club were paid instantly from my account.
£3 may be a trivial sum to AccyMad, but I've gladly contributed thousands following ASFC over the years.
Seems unfair for the club to reward my loyalty by picking my pocket for a paltry £3 & breaking the law to boot!

Just seemed to me an inappropriate time to whinge about such a small matter - Wynonie posted in a very similar vein & yet that doesn't seem to have upset you?
As for how much you've ploughed into the club over the years, you're certainly not unique in that & I can assure you that £3 is not a trivial sum to me but unlike you I won't go on about why that is as my personal circumstances are just that - personal!
Yes, the club made a mistake but I'm sure if you'd pointed it out to them instead of posting on here that you're going to report them to trading standards for it, the matter would have been sorted

Oh do pardon me AccyMad!
I thought this thread was about Season Tickets, not our superb league title - Silly me!
There are 61 posts on this thread, quite a few critical about the clubs apparent inflexibility over exactly when they can be bothered to service requests to renew season tickets - on which you remain strangely quiet.
Yet, as soon as I raise a legitimate point about an unlawful charge, you accuse me of being a whingeing skinflint, intent on spoiling the party.
As for 'pointing this out to the club', I did question it at the time I paid my £182 fee & was told 'Sorry! Company policy'.
I recall we had this same argument last season when the club made this 'admin charge' but it was only after I paid that I was made aware that this became illegal in January.
As for your pathetic jibe about ignoring Wynonie. You stuck the knife in first, he just finished me off!
Your argument is like a child reprimanded for some naughty deed who replies -'It's not fair, it wasn't just me!
But just to keep you happy - Wynonie - you're a very naughty boy!

Yeah, but there is a big difference between questioning a busy member of staff with no authority to change things, and writing formally to the MD pointing out that their policy is illegal. The difference being that the second approach might actually change things ....

Life would be so much simpler if I could only see one side of an argument :(

That's better! I was beginning to think you were ignoring me. Strewth, Lord Stiffy, you've certainly got one on you today. If this is you at our greatest moment of triumph, I dread to think what you're like in one of our darker moments!

Its always the same when we're doing well and there's nothing to moan about football wise. I still fondly recall Piegate from our dress-rehearsal season 2 years ago.

If you want something to moan about what about the price of soft drinks during winners hour? (Only joking).

Please........

This thread was started - as I have done more than once - in the hope of rallying folks to beat the 1000 barrier (something that I have longed for for years.............)

There are people on here who get it and understand why :)

But, I never, ever intended it to turn into a tit for tat thread - like some posters seem to relish in - about anything else!!!!

At the time of posting, I never, ever envisaged we would be talking of a title winning 'Championie' team (please burn me now for doubting we would win the league ;))

The two main 'culprits' in this thread are - in my opinion - two of the most loyal, dedicated, Stanley oriented, decent people I know.

I heard Andy Holt on the radio the other night - Yeovil - saying that a girl said to him "Sorry, but I have only been supporting Accy for six years..." Andy replied "Do not worry, I have only supported them for two!!"

It is not about 'my dad is stronger than yours..' it is about Stanley achieving a monumental promotion and WINNING THE LEAGUE!!!!!

Please can we all remember that the one thing that binds us all together is the mighty Accy Stanley..........

"we conquered all of non-league..................

:) :) :)

ON STANLEY ON

So anyway, Joe, to get back in track, how many ST's have they sold so far? I'm sure I've seen a figure of 800 quoted somewhere?

Wasn't ignoring you Wynonie. Just trying to keep my response in keeping with the point of this thread.
I celebrated our superb achievement along with everyone else on Saturday.
However, I thought this thread was supposed to be about season tickets?
I've gladly renewed mine again, but because I mention a questionable charge I'm suddenly a whinger.
We all love an argument, but some of the replies to my original post have been pure sarcasm & seem to follow the old adage;
'When you have no basis for an argument, abuse the plaintiff'

So as people get different treatment and told different things it probably depended who you spoke to. Which doesn't bode well - come back RH!

The £3 charge for paying by card is mentioned on the fishy today! I have really no idea if its Legal or Illegal? but if some think it is since Jan, then its summat that the club needs to clear up PDQ imho. Dont do any good at all brassing fans off.
