Easter fixtures . . . . .
Now completely scuppered by Sky! Our Good Friday game v Luton moved to the Saturday with 5.30 kick off (live on Sky) & as a result our away fixture at Doncaster's been moved from Easter Monday to Tuesday night - not a happy bunny!

Sky do NOT give a monkeys about fans never have never will. makes no odds to me as i'm retired, but can understand folk that aint getting annoyed and feel genuinely sorry fer em.

Re: Easter fixtures . . . . .
fans have to put up with 12.30 or so kick offs and 5.30 ones. surely its about time for 10am kick offs or a midnight football special. will there be half and half scarves for sale at the luton game to give us a real sky watching match experiance.

Re: Easter fixtures . . . . .
Andy Holt said it was agreed to be played at 12.30 good Friday, EFL ask would they move it to Saturday, clubs didn’t agree. EFL moved it anyway. We get £30,000 Luton £10,000

Re: Easter fixtures . . . . .
The major share holder does complain about the lack of tv games, giving sky full access and not getting shown. If you do get shown you get moved, and you get no say - been that way since league games went on telly in the 80s.
Tuesday way at Doncaster is poor, not like UMIST on a Wednesday is it? |
Re: Easter fixtures . . . . .
Im with everyone else that its frustrating as a fan. At least the club should get a bit of cash though (silver linings and all that). Does anyone know how much we usually get?

Re: Easter fixtures . . . . .
This season Div 1 clubs get £30k if at home and £10 if away.
Last year Div 1 clubs all got £25k each even if they weren't choosen at all!! Rovers had 6 TV games and got nothing extra. Walsall and a couple of other clubs weren't selected for any live games and got the exact same payment!! |

EFL's main income revenue is Sky. They want something in return, games on their channels. In the PM era we would have played at 9pm on a Sunday to get some additional TV revenue!! |
Re: Easter fixtures . . . . .
Whats up with games on channels at the programmed time? then fans would not lose money or matches.
