Rochdale match thread.

Apparently weather forecast has a yellow weather warning for heavy rain all day Saturday in Accrington area, Andy Holt has tweeted that there is a planned 8-00am pitch inspection obviously weather can alter before Saturday but I fear the worst and can't see it being on with all the rain we,ve had which isn't what either team needs at this crucial stage of the season let's pray for some sunshine.

Heard a suggestion that if off, the game maybe played as soon as monday night, if so i think Smyth will have joined up with NI and we lose him for this game and Burton.

Given the forecast (continuous rain from midnight tonight) having an inspection at 08:30 and establishing for a quick replay date is about as pro-active as it can get in football.

Sensible early decision this game was always going to be off with the weather we have had Monday could be a doubt looking at the state of the pitch let's hope for some kinder weather.

Think monday could be a bit premature, given the forecast?

I think, given the weather we've had this week & what's forecast the inspection was just a formality tbh, pitch looks like a swimming pool - fingers crossed for Monday but can't see it, weather's horrendous this morning & snow forecast for tomorrow

Re: Rochdale match thread.

Looked inevitable from the forecast fro the last 48 hours.

When you cann hear teh rain all night, as it is forecst heavy all day, I would have been shocked if it wasn't called off.

Rearranging it for Monday is unusually quick, but could be sonething to do with allowing teh palyers with international call ups to play. However there are other mideweek slots before the end of the season, and a lot won't be able to make Monday at this notice and will have no chance to return tickets either.

:pain30:
SKY is definitely to blame........
Sky TV for causing the rescheduling of two games at Easter.....:end:
and... 'THE' Sky for leaking rain for the last few days causing the new date for the 'Dale match when I am away on a holiday which I carefully organised so as not to miss any matches!:inky::inky::inky:

SKY .............Humph!
