Just read that Mike Ferguson who scored the last league goal for Stanley in the 61/62 season has passed away at the age of 76. RIP Mike, deepest condolences to your family

Always remember him as that youngster of the team who went onto t’Rovers after Stanley’s demise. Condolences to his family and friends.

Sad news. I was only a kid when he was at Stanley but saw him play many times for Rovers. He was a very talented player. Used to love watching him dance past two or three players on the wing before supplying a demon pass to a team mate. He was definately an entertainer and scored some cracking goals too. RIP Mike.
