Just says on fishy site prices to be confirmed, & yeah it was the police who weren't happy about the tie being played on Saturday (can hardly blame them after last weekends antics),
Couldn't play it on original date of 3rd December either as it clashes with a Burnley home fixture so again a policing issue

how many times have we clashed with burnley home games this season. its not as if the crowd is going to be as large as last saturday for a start.

Most Burnley and Accy fixtures are Police free, so we can usually play on same day.
Burnley v Man City is Cat B; ie 3 times as many police as we had on Saturday in the ground.

Given the BWFC fans behaviour on Saturday our leasing.com game will be at least Cat A; which is the lowest policed catogary available

With all the police cutbacks there simply isn't enough officers to cover both games on the same night.

Blimey that’s a huge rise, means the stay always will definitely stay away, also I would think some pensioners as well.
Don’t know what the club are thinking of .

I suspect some of the rise is due to cover increased police costs. They may have categorised the game.

what kind of gates have bolton been getting at home in this competition. if they are say half the league figure then i imagine it will be half the away support from the other week. then the price will put many off like i imagine it will do for stanley fans.

3 times the price of the last round, the cub looking to cash in on away fans again but it isn't the best way of growing home support.

I thought it would go up, maybe to £10 max, but staying away on principle now. Should learn their lesson from Burnley in the League Cup.

ID needed to buy tickets. Whatever...

thought the club was doing its best to encourage fans to attend games in this competition. then this price rise comes up. a home match should be all about stanley fans and not away ones.

Like a few others I presume I was sceptical of this competition when it first emerged but this season with amongst other things Andy Holt's comments about getting behind it I did regardless of the price, been to everyone of the games so far but I'm afraid will miss this one because like I said previously it's not about the price but I do think this is the club trying to exploit fans pockets not a good move IMHO.

with the memory of 7-1 still in fans minds i wonder if that had anything to do with the price charged. if the result had been the other way round i doubt there would have been the keeness by the club to charge as much.

There was a £16k security and police bill at the 1st game paid by ASFC.

Whilst no doubt attendance will be less, the police don't want a repeat of the disgraceful behaviour of some Bolton fans, so this game will have a heavy police attendance

Prices have to be the same for both teams.

Not sure on the the logic behind adults and concessions being the same.

Looking at several prices for this round, the following seems to be the norm:

Adults - £5

Concessions - £1

I bet some need police too.

For whatever reason the clue is in the name. You can't call it a concession if it is the same price, they should just have said no concessions.

Maybe it is due to pensioners and kids not having jobs normally.

As a concession (ie over 65) this has always been the case with Stanley, some clubs offer concessions to over 60's. As for disabled supporters, you may need to check your facts first, with Stanley, a disabled supporter pays full price, be it £20 for under 65's and £15 for over 65's, if however, they get PIP or DLA with a full care component, then the carer is allowed in free of charge, but the disabled person still pays the required admission fee.

Begrudgingly paid £30 for two tickets for tonight’s game, like many others I do not like the invasion of premier league U21’s into this competition, the misbehaviour of some Bolton & Blackpool fans at the wham stadium has been disgraceful, I feel that if away fans cause damage or disruption at away venues then the visiting clubs should bear the cost

£15 for approx. 95 minutes of live football against a local rival who we recently beat 7-1 in a cup we could get to Wembley in.
Charging a £5 ticket wouldn't even cover the cost of staging the game.
I have no problem with paying the £15 if I had too, heck i'd even pay the £20 charged for a home league game.

Not the point as I posted earlier in this thread hate missing home games but when it is said we are being told to pay for the privilege of extra police because of a few morons misbehaving then t's a dangerous precedent are they going to increase league games by the same principle if that's the case it will be £60 thanks. This won't happen I know but season ticket holder or not I don't like having the **** taken I go for the football not to watch extra policing.

That was the last game the policing was needed for, and Stanley would still have made a lot of money despite police costs.

Tonight the club badly got it wrong with prices, hence 500 fans.

In the last game with Bolton I didn't see the POLICE stopping "BOLTON FANS" throwing things on the pitch, running on the pitch and just being D/HDS. (not all of them). So will the extra money prevent this happening. I don't think so.
