The destiny of the original club hasn't been decided yet.
Weird.
This is the new club set up by supporters.

so do i, but there are a number of people around who are moaning the fact they have been given a place in the NW Counties whilst they have spent money at clubs getting their ground up to that leagues standard and have been denied a place.

I think the bigger news is what round will it start. Of the 6 rounds before the 1st round at least 3 will have to go and maybe all 6.

No room for 3rd and 4th round of EFL cup if teams in Europe, and Internationals are still being played Sept, Oct and Nov which take one weekend and the midweek either side out. EFL cup could become the new EFL Trophy.

for one season only they could scrap all rounds up to the 1st round proper. those non league sides who reached that round last season could be placed in the draw. those who did not reach it could get the same sponsorship money as they got last season. i for one enjoy mid week games but many do not and will not attend for their own reasons. anything to minimize the amount of these would be a good thing.

But apparently no changes to the basic structure .....

which doesn't affect us in any way, and leaves the chance of a bit of glory open to all.

The National League say they aren't starting season untill the 3rd of October when they hope some crowds will be allowed in. The body that passes safety certification for grounds are saying that some lower league grounds might be limited to less than 25% depending on obviously the layout,s of grounds.

Re: Next season??

anyone heard when teams like ramsbottom will be allowed back. know that proper grass rooys football starts in my area on 5th september. even if that date is used for non league teams who go into extra preliminary fa cup rounds how the hell will a successful one manage to play all their league games as well if they reached round 1 proper. get a really bad winter on top of this then another season could be decided on points per game again.

apart from the ex league clubs like stockport and wrexham i doubt a 25 per cent maximum will affect many who have gates in the lower hundreds.

Professor who works on the crowds back in sport panel warns that in football full crowds not back this year and very probably this season because of concerns over shouting and chanting, it's going to be strange.
