If only other ‘essential’ businesses were so restrained in their price rises.

Re: Season Tickets 2024/25

Everyone has a chance to comment, tell the club and Andy what they think about the price of ticket changes for next season.

Andy and the club are asking fans to comment.....either on twitter, email, letter to the club or indeed this thread!

As other fans from other clubs have said.....they wish that their clubs were so "transparent and open" about making important changes about ticket pricing.

So let your feelings and thoughts know. No one wants to see prices going-up but we all certainly want to see Accrington Stanley thrive and improve. The clubs never been in a better position away from the playing side........

So if you've got a comment or suggestion let Andy and the club know. And do it quickly before the first week in January, I've seen somewhere that decisions about next season will be made, I think by early January...the 10th for some reason springs to mind........Hurry up with your ideas and comments.......

I don't think the proposed increase is bad at all & I like that people can buy their season ticket in two halves.
Not so sure on the fiver increase for walk on prices, I still hear folk moan at paying 20 quid - maybe we could do it in smaller steps over the next couple of seasons?

Andy does occasionally temporary suspend his X account, i did once ask him the reasons why and he said its very time consuming and he needed to concentrate on his other business activities.
He normally makes a comeback after a few weeks/months.

Yes, yes and no :)

It was just some numbers and comparisons and he said it was just "floating some numbers about"

Got to think that he could have just left it live for people to look at

Would imagine that they will be on sale in early January....

I think 8th March was for 23/24 season tickets. The 24/25 prices aren't on the website yet.

Yes CG you are right, I never thought that when I clicked on Season Tickets that the information was for the current season. Unfortunately I don't do Twitter Watchdog but if that is what AH says then I'll be there on Monday.

On sale from tomorrow but have risen more than the price Andy mentioned a couple of months ago, I know there's been no rise for a while but to jump from 239 to 284 for an early bird is a bit of an ouch.
The paying in two halves is an option but at 180 for each half, it makes sense to buy a full season ticket if you can

Do not understand how the price of each half is the same, but for a game less/more?!?

You'd think so but I think when we've previously sold half season tickets at Christmas for the second half of the campaign they've worked out dearer per game too

Looking at Andy's X account he reckons last seasons relegation cost us £1million pounds and lots of money lost in recent seasons paying up contracts for players who didn't even play for one reason or another. When looking at other clubs and all their debt i think we are lucky to have someone here at Accrington Stanley who not only cares for the club but also the overall community.

I don't think anyone is disputing all that but it is a big jump in price & double the rise we were told it would probably be - personally i'd rather it had gone up in small increments over the last few years rather than all at once but it won't stop me renewing my ticket

We've been given an insight into the clubs finances by Andy Holt. I'm surprised the increase isn't more! The club has set it's ticket prices and will be hoping they don't lose much in terms of attendances. The biggest cut is yet to come in getting the club's finances on an even keel. Next years playing budget. Let's hope whoever the manager is can live with it.

Bit early yet Val....but you can bet they will be lower than this season.......because some will have renewed this time last year hoping for League 1 football...and the Coleman and Bell debacle will hit sales......the big un-known is if anyone who disliked Coleman and Bell will come back?

But only 3 days to keep your own seat (if applicable), can't understand why the cut off date is different to the early bird one

So that new season ticket holders can choose a seat that becomes available and still gets the early bird price.

On fishy now, we are approaching 1000 season tickets sold & deadline for early bird as we know is Monday 19th - I'm a little annoyed however to read that now there is an installment plan being offered, this if it had been in place from the off would have made a big difference to me & I suspect many others, why wait till now to offer this?!

It's probably due to requests on Andy's twitter (X) account. Think its accurate to say the club would rather get all the monies in upfront to get us through the close season but he got requests on twitter asking that the club re considers this option hence the change.

I have a feeling that maybe sales aren't going as well as hoped & this is to try & encourage more people to get their season ticket, all very well but it should have been offered from the outset

Think its just a case of like a lot of other clubs that theyve just realised that the pay pal pay in three thing has been sat there waiting to be taken advantage of quite a while now.
