Thought the gate was very disappointing tbh, I know we only played them a couple of weeks ago & it wasn't the most inspiring of draws but only around 1200 Stanley fans was pretty poor imho

It is a poor crowd when you consider their were 1500 at Chorley in National League North this afternoon.......with exactly the same ticket prices, and Chorley lost 3 nil.....

Everybody paid, Rovers at home - V Leeds - Christmas very soon, not a glamour tie, main thing is we won :)

A couple of weeks ago there were 2755 on the ground for a league game and today only 1534 for a cup game??? Doesn't make sense.

Hi ossy kid, it's most likely the core of the season ticket holders who are reluctant to pay "extra" for FA Cup games. Especially for "non-glamour" ties. It obviously affected support for both sides......Swindon Town fans, having travelled to see their team against Accy 2 weeks ago, almost 700, only brought 250 to 300 yesterday. Time of year impacts as well, run up to Christmas and of course financial gloom.......Labour's rubbish budget and older fans losing out on Winter Fuel Allowance.........many small negatives do affect attendances.....BUT what a fantastic afternoon we all had who saw the "roller coaster" that is Stanley ALL IN ONE GAME........I left the ground enthralled, delighted, amazed and overjoyed at "WHAT MAKES SUPPORTING STANLEY GREAT".

Season Tickets are counted at every game - there or not.

Therefore, if there are 900 Season Tickets sold, none of which turn up and 1 paying on the gate, the crowd will be........... 901 :)

This is one of many contributing factors, CG has named a few others also :)

:) Saturdays FA Cup Attendance at the Wham Att :- 1534 Which includes 355 Robins fans :) Congratulations goes to VALAIRIAN who Guessed 1962 and is thenearest :) Final Score 90 min's Stanley 2 - 2 Robins ( 2 - 2 ) after ET :) Stanley won 4 - 1 on pens :)
