Re: vs Donny
Thought we might get a draw during the game Kiwi. We were much better when we switched to 4-4-2 from 5 at the back. Can't understand why Ben Woods isn't improving with all the game time he's getting. Maybe needs to be put on the bench for a few games. Connor Obrien's not performing like he did before he became an International. connor Grant looks good when he let's on. Calm on the ball and he can pass to a man. We were unlucky with the own goal.....a near post pass into the box, it looked like Ben Ward stuck his foot out to block it and it deflected up and over Crellins gloves. Then you don't seem to get any luck when you're at the bottom of the table......Charlie Brown made us look more dangerous when he came on with Ash Hunter. They brought energy and urgency.......but Donny time wasted and held-on........

Re: vs Donny
Always difficult to beat twelve men.
But thought Stanley, without Rawson again, put up a good fight and had DR with their backs to the wall for the last ten minutes. Their first goal summed up Stanley’s defensive frailties and the second summed up Stanley’s luck. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN1oYGOaxGo |
Re: vs Donny
Donny were better than us overall, that cannot be denied.
We were better second half, but they should have out of sight by then..... We CANNOT lose any of the next two, that is for sure. One thing I keep coming back to is, Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Celtic, Barcelona, Bayern - this list goes on, play 4 at the back..... I wish that we would ditch our 3/5 at the back and go back to a 4.... I am not the manager and I am not in charge, but I do not think we play it well and I will say the same when we get promoted doing so :) IN '62 THEY CLOSED THE DOORS......... P.S. I know that Celtic, Arsenal and City lost over the weekend also :D :D |
