Awful. Even if we survive what of next season?

This is not good, and now they got a spotty. Utter crap Stanley.

The only reasons we have any cushion are veteran Shaun Whalley and the fact we had that Irish centre forward on loan from Burnley first half of the season.

Haggis my friend, please refer to the message that appears at the bottom of ALL your posts on this forum and take heart from it.......

The club will go on, no matter how the season ends. "No one can extinguish the flame!"

Yes but the club had still years of non league ahead of it when I got the complete record that photo came out of.

According to the BBC their custodian has had to make zero saves.

The penalties against us were both for hand-ball by Rawson and Mathew's. Would like to see both those again......so 5 games to go....with key games at home against Tranmere and Carlisle. I hope we give them the minimum ticket allocation allowed. Are you listening Mr Holt!

The most embarrassing, inept performance I have witnessed.
The scoreline could actually have been even worse.
Bromley were everything Stanley were not. Slick in possession, they played fast controlled football.
Stanley could barely string a pass together with too many balls played without thought to no one in particular.
There keeper could have worked from home today, so toothless was our attack.
After conceding 8 goals in 2 games God help us if Morecambe or Carlisle get their act together because today had relegation written all over it.

More worrying is that I was counting the goal difference as an extra point. Two hammerings and it's almost gone.

I agree Haggis that we might be missing Costelloe more than we initially suspected - for being an outlet to relieve pressure, his mobility across the back line, keeping defenders occupied, and his ability to play off the shoulder of the last defender.

Without him, we have struggled to establish a bridgehead in midfield away from home. When you recall the performances at Gillingham, Chesterfield and Wimbledon, there was a clear game plan - to work extremely hard without the ball to cut off opposition supply lines and then to counter at pace. That played to Costelloe's strengths. I've been to Harrogate, Swindon and now Bromley in recent weeks, and I've struggled to work out what exactly we are trying to do. Today was the most disconcerting performance of the lot. It wasn't the defeat, it was more a queasy feeling that the team was close to coming apart at the seams right in front of you. Personally, I'm not worrying about next season, all the focus has to be on surviving this one.

Wasn’t at Bromley but it sounds like a rerun of last Tuesday!

What I find difficult to accept is that the team don’t seem to know how they beat a good team 5-0 and had a deserved draw against the league leaders. Nor how those results are immediately followed by two abject performances.

And that’s why you are not at The Masters instead of watering those tomatoes! ;)

I have watched the low lights several times and find it hard to see it both penalties were?!?!?!?
Though there were little, to no protests from either player/the players...??

That aside, we were poor and as has been said already, it could have been far worse :(

It is a good job we have Shaun Whalley.

It is a good job that Morecambe and Carlisle are so poor....

:)

And yet both those teams are above Stanley on current form!
