FMLeague Petition

Our team at FMLeague have set up a petition to get more interest and knowledge about what FMLeague is going to be.

We are trying to persuade the FA to create a new league, which contains only the 12 Original Founding Members of the FA. These 12 Clubs are: Accrington Stanley, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, Derby County, Everton, Notts County, Preston North End, Stoke, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It will also help revive the passionate football that we miss today, and we believe that this new league will improve the ability and opportunities for English youngsters. Nowadays they aren’t given chances, and sit in the shadows of foreigners in the Premiership. We want to bring about change and revitalise the FA.

Cant see it happening tho nice thought, trouble is there is so many fixtures n focus on the league n other cups that fitting in FM games may be a prob for the clubs, specially primadonnaship whom pull their faces more than most over games played.

What a lovely idea. Its just a shame about ths historical inaccuracies....it was 12 clubs, under FA rules, that founded the Football League, not the FA itself, and of course, it was simply Accrington, and not Accy Stanley, that was one of these clubs.

Is it achievable?...well, you never know. If Man United relocate to Florida (as will happen if Glazier gets his grubby mitts on the club) and Arsenal take their next logical step and transfer to the French League, then there would be a case for restructuring along these lines.

What a great thought! Perhaps he could be persuaded to buy Blackburn and Burnley as well! :)
