Re: bristol bid 4 rory

with a class player like Rory there's always gonna be interset from league clubs but as he said himself, he wants to stay with stanley and help us get promotion. What a cheek, £30K?!!! that's an insult!

its been said before, but don't believe everything you hear on the radio (post 1 on this thread), or everything you read on a forum from somebody who has heard something (post 5 on this thread)...

Re: bristol bid 4 rory

what exactly did the radio say and how do you know he stormed out of training?

Re: bristol bid 4 rory

WHY???

He has said he is staying until we get promoted, so why dont we just believe what he said and stop making all this crap up about him going. He IS the best winger in the conference so people are obviously going to inquire and make offers to test the clubs nerve and try and unsettle him. THe club is showing there strength by sticking by there guns and rejecting these stupid unrealistic offers for him. But wioth all this transfer rumours rory is probably maybe even unconsiously getting a bit unsettled especially when every bloody club in yorkshire keeps offering for him. This (if he did storm out of training which i dont believe is true) is why

So leave the lad alone and let concentrate on the job at hand Getting back to the football league!!

Re: bristol bid 4 rory

cant afford to lose him! Our squad will then be down to the bare bones again and for a side playing for football league promotion it is not a good thing 2 have

J Timmins note:
Keyco was not posting to unsettle or upset anyone, purely reporting a news reporters words. Both he & I (I am his dad) know how valuable Rory is to the Stanley & know him personally so we would never try to belittle him. Try reading the post thorougly before criticising in future & you may not end up tiring your (high) horse!http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...ons/icon13.gif
