It is the underside of 'a thing-o-purpose'
I can see some wear on the protruding bits and a drainage hole.

Spot on with the thing-o-purpose, but what purpose was that. You could have called it a doofer and been just as near.
No wear on it, it was never used, and that is no drainage hole, you will get an eye opener when you find out what the hole was for.

Second photograph could be an engine sump plug, I thought at first sight that it could be the base of a cartridge or shell casing with the primer removed, but then thought it was a casting.
