another one jumps on the band-wagon
even though i agree with the sentiment another member of the political disaster area that is the labour party has now jumped on the band wagon by stating that the lazy doleites that cant be bothered to get off their backsides and find jobs should no longer be carried by the honest working people of this country
on the one hand i'd like to jump up and say give that man a medal whilst on the other i'm thinking is this just another empty promise to try and save a dying government
yes i'd like to see the government kick ALL the benefit milking scum of this country back to work and those that refuse or continue to abuse the system lose their benefits so they have no choice but to find a job
maybe then the honest people of this country will no longer have to pay highly inflated taxes just to support wayne and waynetta and their 6 asbo toting brats
what do you think

no just the ones who abuse the system
i know that there are many people who are out of work for genuine reasons such as medical reasons etc
but i also know of a hell of a lot who won't get a job because the benefit system pays more than working a standard 40 hour week
or that they cant be be bothered
or that they can claim their benefits while working for cash in hand and therefore get double money for half the work

I have heard this argument from both Central and Local Government for over three decades and they’ve still done **** all about it, other than increase the numbers claiming by encouraging immigration and teenage pregnancy.
History shows us the best way to deal with scroungers and the uncommitted is to build relief projects. Put the buggers to work for their money on community projects. Those who can’t work through a fault of their own should not be stigmatised or penalised because of those who can.

Re: another one jumps on the band-wagon
Well I think we have heard it all many times before. If they employed a few more people to check up then they could probably save a fortune of what is paid out. The problem is if people are hard faced enough to do it they know the punishment is is so tame they may as well take the chance.

Re: another one jumps on the band-wagon
It is a bandwagon.. with the last tory goverment it was one parent families that got the blame, when the unemployment figures go up the goverment have to have an excuse.. and so come up with the crap that people are unemployed by choice, but at the same time they are cutting jobs in the NHS and the civil service! of course the figures will go up.. simple maths

Re: another one jumps on the band-wagon
This is the one that really gets on my nerves;
Couples who pretend they are living apart so that they can claim bigger benefit payments are costing the taxpayer more than £400 million a year.
It's bad enough when people are placed in to a position of having to manage with kids on their own bit these selfish b*stards use it to their advantage and then get the majority of single parents a bad name for it.

who says that? are the figures of £400 million official?.. if the goverment know its costing this much then they must know who these fraudsters are..so you are saying its costing so much but the goverment don't take action?

Re: another one jumps on the band-wagon
And I will add.. a freind of mine is claiming benifits..he had a heart bypass around 12 months ago.. he is on the waiting list for another operation.
he is living with relatives and the only benifit he gets is around £57 per week.. scounger?..slacker?.. when this country falls into the depths of blaming the most vunerable in or community then we are lost.. we are no better than the ones who try to take us
