You are welcome….but alas I do not know where this building is.
I played in that area as young lass…my friend lived in Sandy Lane, but I cannot recall seeing anything like that…nor do I recall Broad Oak Hostel.

is that not Heathland School (well no more) it certainly looks like it and its on Sandy Lane ?

Hi Shurm,
Yes noted the point in the article about Heathland School, but same as Margaret as a kid I used to play about in that area, but can't remember the building, nor the name Heathland School! Cheers |

Thanks a lot Schurm for the info. Just found it on Google Earth. Must say it's a bit hidden behind a building and a lot of trees.
Still wondering however whether this is the building being asked for in the original post from Bob Dobson. By the way in my Google Earth picture, there is a poster ourside saying that this is a school! Cheers |

It was a school but its just closed it was also a nursery all 4 of mine have been there as a nursery.
