That does not gel easily with privacy concerns. You can't have a truly social network unless people can see enough about you to see if they want to communicate. That would be a bit like having an ex-directory number and then wondering why friends that don't have your number never get in touch. Personally, I think it's a waste of time, but the people I know who really love what it does for them (and the ones who use FB to promote their business) are also the people who have their mobile numbers on display and their information available more widely. |
