Long before the road was built, there was a big old barn by the footpath.
The barn was near the childrens playground, just before the entrance to the council rubbish tip.
Many happy hours spent on that playground!

I'm sat here, looking out through my window, at where it once stood.
My Mum remembers peeping over the wall as a child, and seeing the house filled with beautiful statues.
The house next door, Foxhill Bank House, still large, but not as ornate, is still standing.

I would love to buy the property that is still there. I often dream as I walk past it walking the dog. It has the biggest, flatest, neatest kept lawn I've ever seen. The owners obviously take pride.
