Re: What would you be.....
Well I haven't worked for a while, but I enjoyed every minute of my job and looked forward to work every day. But if I had to choose something different it would be a proffesional Snooker player, I played 7 days a week when I was younger and was quite good, but then I got married and was snookered from then on

As long as the food is good and the critics like it, you can get away with most things.

Re: What would you be.....
Being retired I don’t have a job.
But I was content with my navy career even though the powers that be felt that I was more suited to radio electronics than my choice of electrician and it was only family that saw me leave.
Once in industry I was happy in my job winding transformers from tiny little diddy ones the size of a thumb nail to great big hulking brutes and eventually taking over as foreman of the department until the rug was dragged out from under my feet and redundancy reared its ugly head.
So the only thing that I would have changed is the redundancy bit.

Re: What would you be.....
When I was at school I thought of being a journalist or teacher.
If I had my choice again I would be a private detective or genealogist
