any one lost a cat

this morning we found a cat outside our shop at 335 union road oswaldtwistle
its black with name on collar N-M-

Cats sometimes go walkabout for days.
By all means feed it if you want to, but you risk it adopting you if you provide better food than it gets at home

I see a black cat wondering all over in ossy, maybe its the same one?

id just leave it, it will go home when its hungry

That may be a cat named Elvis owned by my neighbour who has 'learning difficulties'.
I dont think he feeds it right because when he goes on holiday for a week he leaves one half empty small box of cat biscuits to last it.
It is semi feral and I suspect it survives by keeping mice down on the nearby allotments.

Elvis hasn't got a collar - I was responding to Panther about 'the black cat that roams Ossy'
Cats are more intelligent and independant than dogs - it will survive and go home when it wants to.
The only exceptions are maybe the pedigree pampered cats who rarely get let out.
