Question Church & Ossy railway station???

Not sure if this should be in Oswaldtwistle or Church section so apologies if I've got it wrong.
Does anyone know what was going on at Church and Ossy railway station last night? There were 2 network rail vans parked at the side on Union road and 2 police vans parked up behind them. They were there for ages

Re: Church & Ossy railway station???

Some guy got in a bunfight with a couple of local yobs (no doubt from Ossy) and ended up on the track; the transpennine express then went whizzing over him. Luckily, he got away with a few bruises and cuts. I expect the most medical treatment he will need will be innoculation against all the muck from between the tracks as trains still empty their bogs directly on to the tracks.

If the incident was captured on CCTV, it should make interesting viewing.

I wonder if it was Britcliffe under the train, doing another one of his self-publicity exercises?
