It was the 11plus that separated us - I passed and he didn't, and so we no longer had mutual school friends.

I was once dining out in Padiham at a 'works xmas do'
The food and service were poor.
When I complained I got snidy remarks that our party were The Boswells even though none of us had scouse accents

Just a little tip cashy don't mention the word Dingles when your on an hospital ward staffed by young ladies from down the other end of the motorway, its not recommended, as they are often knocking about with them bloody great big needles in their hands and they get a better grip with six fingers too

i know mate, already done it, when i went wi paris, about 4 months ago. there was a "Herd" of dingle nurses on her ward,so i just could not resist.
