Fox Hill Pub
Bumped into Paul Barton in Accy and he told me he's opening another outlet for his Undertaking Business, The Foxhill Pub on Union Road, so looks like another pub gone down the Swanee

Re: Fox Hill Pub
I thought that the Foxhill only reopened about a year ago.
Ah well, I suppose if it's going to be a funeral parlour - full of the dead and the glum faced - it won't be the first pub in Hyndburn to achieve that distinction.
The Accy Commercial (aka Wetherspoons) has already done it.

Some of us have tastes and principles, Jaysay.
By the way - we can also spell - it's Wetherspoons.

Re: Fox Hill Pub
I've wrote a poem.
It's a good 'un - I'm sure you'll all agree:
THE FOXHILL
Will the new owners
Allow the sad mourners
To drown their snot
With a takeaway
From Yip Spot?

The Accy Wetherspoons is based on the Ossy model of a pub.

Re: Fox Hill Pub
Will there be a smoking area?
If not, I'm not going in.

Re: Fox Hill Pub
Fox Hill Pub now closed, signs removed. But The Plough (Fielding Lane) has reopened on 25 Aug.
